Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

Your adventure starts with an early departure from Nairobi, crossing the equator and heading towards one of the most iconic locations in the Great Rift Valley—Lake Nakuru National Park. Known for its alkaline lake, this natural wonder is famous for the thousands of flamingos that flock here, creating a stunning, pink-hued shoreline. The park is also a sanctuary for both black and white rhinos, with over 100 of these majestic creatures roaming its grounds, making for an unforgettable wildlife experience. After arriving and enjoying a delightful lunch, you'll embark on an afternoon game drive, where you’ll explore the park’s diverse ecosystems and abundant wildlife.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara

In the early morning, depart for the Maasai Mara National Reserve. This magical land is one of the few places on Earth that still maintains the untouched natural habitats of wildlife, where animals roam freely as they did on the African plains and forests of old. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, Maasai Mara hosts the breathtaking seasonal Great Migration each year. Thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and their predators converge here, creating an unforgettable natural spectacle. Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive to immerse yourself in the diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes of Maasai Mara.

Day 3: Maasai Mara 

After breakfast, embark on a full-day wildlife viewing adventure, with a packed lunch provided for your convenience. Maasai Mara is renowned for its iconic black-maned lions and abundant resident wildlife. It’s one of the few places where you can see Africa’s “Big Five” in a single morning safari drive. The cheetahs here are particularly calm and may even seek shade under your vehicle during the scorching heat or jump onto the roof to observe potential prey, offering a unique and intimate experience with nature. For birdwatching enthusiasts, Maasai Mara is a true paradise, home to over 500 bird species, including 16 species of eagles, various falcons, and vultures, as well as 8 species of storks and 4 types of bustards. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of Maasai Mara, where nature and wildlife create an unforgettable journey.

Day 4: Maasai Mara to Serengeti

In the early morning, enjoy a brief wildlife viewing drive within Maasai Mara National Reserve before departing the park. After completing border procedures, continue your journey towards Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Although it’s a long drive, the scenic route between the parks offers the possibility of encountering unforgettable wildlife moments. To maximize your time, we highly recommend a flight transfer between parks, allowing you more time to immerse in the safari experience. If the schedule permits, you may choose to extend your journey by a day and stop at Lake Victoria, Africa’s largest freshwater lake, to enjoy its tranquil beauty and take a brief pause.

Day 5/6:  Serengeti

Serengeti National Park, the heart of the world-famous Great Migration, is a true paradise for wildlife enthusiasts. The name "Serengeti" comes from the Swahili word meaning "endless plains," and this vast land, covering approximately 18,000 square kilometers (6,900 square miles), immerses you in one of the earth's most raw and awe-inspiring natural landscapes. Over 2 million large animals call the Serengeti home, including over a million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson's gazelles. Every year, these animals embark on an epic migration, crossing rivers and traversing the savannah in search of water and fresh grazing, offering an unforgettable dance of life and nature.Beyond the herbivores, Serengeti is also a haven for large predators. Lions, cheetahs, and hyenas hunt in the open plains, showcasing the natural survival rules in this unspoiled ecosystem. Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation

Day 9: Lake Manyara / Amboseli

After breakfast, embark on a morning wildlife exploration in Lake Manyara National Park, enjoying a packed picnic lunch during your adventure. Although relatively small at 205 square miles, this enchanting park is celebrated for its stunning scenery and lush acacia forests, featuring grand fig and mahogany trees that serve as havens for baboons and blue monkeys. You'll also encounter abundant wildlife, including buffalo, giraffes, elephants, and impalas, alongside a hippo pool where these massive creatures gather.Lake Manyara is a birdwatcher's paradise, home to over 400 bird species. Day 11: Amboseli / Nairobi

Start your morning with a final game drive in Amboseli, immersing yourself in the park’s diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. For those interested, we can arrange an optional visit to a Maasai village. This cultural experience offers a rare glimpse into the daily lives, sacred traditions, and vibrant dances of the Maasai people. Discover their unique social structure, step into their traditional homes, and connect with the rich heritage of one of Africa's most iconic tribes.After an enriching morning, we will depart Amboseli in the early afternoon, embarking on a scenic drive back to Nairobi. Arrival is expected around 5 PM, where we will drop you off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of this unforgettable journey.
